Summary

SwipeSave is a Chrome extension that lets you save video ads from TikTok and the Meta Ad Library to a personal, local swipe file. All your data stays on your device. We do not have a server. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any of your data.

What data SwipeSave stores

When you click the Save button on a video ad, SwipeSave stores the following metadata locally in your browser, using Chrome's built-in chrome.storage.local API:

• The source URL of the ad
• The platform (TikTok or Meta Ad Library)
• A thumbnail image of the ad (compressed, capped at 200 KB)
• The ad's caption text (as displayed publicly)
• The advertiser's name or handle (as displayed publicly)
• The date you saved the ad
• Tags and notes you choose to add

This data never leaves your browser. It is not synced to any server, not transmitted to us, and not shared with any third party.

What SwipeSave does NOT do

• We do not collect personally identifiable information (no name, no email, no account).
• We do not track your browsing history.
• We do not record your clicks, scrolls, mouse movements, or keystrokes.
• We do not use analytics or tracking tools of any kind.
• We do not make network requests to our servers (we do not operate any).
